The Multi Disability Centre - Rehabilitation Centre for children with Disabilities

Ashray Akruti’s Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Special Needs in Borabanda, Hyderabad provides intervention services to children in the age group of 0 to 18 with various disabilities. The children are screened and provided the most appropriate therapy/therapies by qualified Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational therapists and Behavioral therapists. Each child is given individual sessions throughout the week with Saturdays mainly reserved for group therapies. The professionals help children achieve their optimum level of independence within home,school, and community.

The Centre encourages parental involvement in understanding the therapies. Free hearing aids, counseling, linking persons with disabilities to Government Schemes and entitlements are also some of the services provided by this Centre.

Multimedia and Animation Training for Hearing Impaired Youth

Ashray Akruti has been providing market aligned skill training in Multimedia and Computer Animation for hearing impaired youth since 2010. The training provides hearing impaired youth a wide range of unique skill training on Multimedia and Animation. The curriculum is structured based on the market trends and requirements. Along with the technical modules, students are also trained in soft skills, personality development, financial literacy, language development, Indian sign language, email etquette, and MS office tools.Post the successful completion of the course, the students are assisted with placements in the Industry. Residential facility is available to trainees who are from outside Hyderabad.

The organization has so far trained about 250 youth with 90% of the trainees successfully placed in the creative Industry.

The Multimedia course has been designed to train the students on three basic graphic editorsoftware which are in demand in the Multimedia Industry.
